|Summary:|| Silvermere is in Elmbridge - now a Tier 2 (High Risk) area for Covid regulations - but we are not closing down use of the lake at the moment. We do ask that not more than 6 people gather to sail / float boats. Please click on the headline for further information.

This means that there are updated guidlines on social and group interaction. At the moment we can still gather in groups of up to 6 people socially distanced. It is important to abide by these rules when sailing.
We are trying to think of a simple, convenient method of booking a sailing period so that we only have 6 at a time but haven't come up with one yet that doesn't involve emails, phone calls , computers and spread sheets for booking a couple of days in advance and risking getting there in a howling gale or complete frozen stillness.
So what we are asking is that you risk turning up and finding more than 6 thus either going home again or having a coffee/tea and waiting.
Silvermere "Inn on the Lake" has tightened up on its restaurant regulations and seating indoors is only for single families of up to 6 i.e. no mixed family gathering. Outdoors on the terrace can be mixed meeting up to 6 people and they have increased slightly the number of tables and are using the heaters to keep the place a bit warmer but it can get busy!
Thus not exactly good news or bad news just be careful and patient.
