Note: The News Item List will show the Headline and the Summary text listed under its Publication Date. The Detail is only shown if the Headline is clicked on. Detail isn't required, but if you include Detail then you should remind the reader in the Summary that they should click on the Headline to access it. The Summary is meant to be a single paragraph and any formatting will be ignored, including line breaks.

The Detail field can contain "wiki markup" to format it. Instructions on how to use "wiki markup" can be found at the bottom of this form.

Note: In order to add pictures click on the "Add Another" button. Then click on the "Upload file" link to invoke the dialogue for uploading a picture. In the dialogue box click the "Choose file" button. Navigate to the location on your computer where the picture is stored, select the picture file and click on the "Open" button. This will return you to the "Upload file" dialogue. In the "file description box, change the "Destination filename" of the selected file to be the caption you wish the picture have, but keep the ".jpg" or similar extension information. The caption can contain alphanumeric characters, underscores and dashes only, as for a file name. You do not have to complete any of the other information. Then click the "Upload file" button at the bottom of the dialogue box to upload your picture. This process can be repeated for each picture you wish to upload. On the picture upload line clicking the "+" icon allows inserting a new line before the current one and clicking the "x" icon will delete the current line.

Note: The Publication Date determines when an item will be reported on the news list. If the date is in the future it will not appear until that date. If the date is in the past, the item will only appear if it is one of the last fifty news items before today's date. IF NO DATE IS ENTERED THIS ITEM WILL NEVER APPEAR ON THE NEWS LIST.
